You can't keep a good producer down. It was only a month ago that his 'Mars Needs Moms' flopped at the box office and already Robert Zemeckis and his Imagemovers banner are looking at a new animation project: an adaptation of the book 'How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack.' According to The Hollywood Reporter, the book, by Chuck Sambuchino, is in the process of being optioned by Sony Pictures Animation. The book is a "comprehensive survival guide that will help you prevent, prepare for and ward off an imminent home invasion by the common garden gnome. Once thought of as harmless yard decorations, evidence is mounting that these smiling lawn statues are poised and ready to wreak havoc."
