Kris Herzog, the loose cannon former bodyguard and self-proclaimed lover of Oksana Grigorieva, is now protecting presidential candidate Herman Cain.
Not sure if that bodes well for the Hermanator's chances.
In any case, here he is on the campaign trail in Detroit with Herman Cain, the Georgia businessman who has improbably become a contender for the GOP nomination:
On a side note, the Cain Express has a sweet ass tour bus.
Cain's spokesperson, J.D. Gordon, told TMZ that the appearance shown above was Herzog's first job with the campaign and he worked with a team of 2-3 guys.
It's unclear if Herzog is scheduled for other events or will be asked to provide future services ... and also unclear if Cain is aware that Herzog is bat$h!t insane.
For those unaware, dude was front and center in the year-long war between Grigorieva and Mel Gibson, having allegedly witnessed some really shady stuff pertaining to the domestic violence/extortion case, and possibly tapped that.
Oksana, that is, not Mel.
